I was born in 1975 in Istanbul, Turkey and graduated with a degree in Interior Design from the Fine Art Academy, Mimar Sinan University, in 2001. Since then I have worked and gained professional experience in many areas of the visual arts, design and architecture not only in Turkey but also in Canada, the USA and Russia. My mother tongue is Turkish but over the years I have also undertaken language studies in English, French and Russian.

In the summer of 2007, I married and returned to Istanbul where I am now engaged in freelance and consultant work related to my various artistic pursuits.
